For medical degrees, the average figure is £22,732 per year. MBA programs stand at an average figure of £19,924 per year. These are overall average and the tuition fee may be cheaper or expensive according to the Universities selected.
While the full-time Ph.D. in the United Kingdom takes typically around 3 to 4 years. The part-time Ph.D. takes around 6 to 7 years. The average tuition fee for Ph.D. is £18,000
Living Cost
It is difficult to stipulate a fixed amount for your expenses, as it depends on your lifestyle, needs and what part of the country you decide to stay. However, UK Visa and Immigration requires you to have a budget of £1,023 per month as a maintenance cost for at least 9 months (£9,207). This cost covers most of your accommodation, travel, books, food and gym.
Visa Process
If you wish to study a full-time course with any universities that is more than six months then you will need a Student Visa. Once you applied for the university, you will receive a conditional offer letter if any conditions are not met with your applications. Once you satisfied those conditions you will receive an unconditional offer letter. In order to apply for this visa you will need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from the chosen university. It is a Sponsorship document of the university of yours, that they are willing to sponsor you to study in the UK. Once CAS has been issued, you will be given a supporting document that will contain a unique CAS number. This CAS number must be attached to your visa application form. As a UKVI process students might attend an interview after making an appointment.
Then UKVI aims to process the application within 15 working days from the date of application. However, it may be longer in certain circumstances.
